Company Overview
Our client is a globally recognized consumer electronics brand with a rich heritage in imaging and photography innovation.
The engineering team owns the complete product development lifecycle, from concept development and system architecture through validation, manufacturing, and mass production. Engineers work closely with global product, hardware, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver innovative products to worldwide markets.
This role offers the opportunity to help redefine how validation is performed by moving beyond traditional testing into validation strategy, test architecture, and intelligent test development.
Job Summary
We are looking for a Validation Architecture Engineer to drive validation planning, test methodology development, and system-level verification for next-generation consumer electronic products.
Rather than simply executing test cases, this role participates early in product development to identify technical risks, define validation strategies, and develop comprehensive test coverage before products enter validation builds.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to establish scalable validation methodologies while supporting hands-on testing, failure analysis, and continuous improvement throughout the product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Participate early in product development to identify technical risks and define validation strategies.
- Develop validation plans, test methodologies, test cases, and validation procedures.
- Establish comprehensive validation coverage based on product requirements and risk assessment.
- Execute system-level validation, functional testing, reliability testing, and verification activities.
- Analyze validation results, investigate failures, and drive root cause analysis.
- Work closely with hardware, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and product development teams.
- Support validation readiness throughout NPI milestones including EVT, DVT, PVT, and production launch.
- Improve validation efficiency by leveraging automation, scripting, AI-assisted tools, and data analysis.
- Continuously optimize validation processes, documentation, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related disciplines.
- 3–6 years of experience in product validation, system testing, verification, or reliability engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or system-level validation.
- Experience developing validation plans, test cases, and verification methodologies.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration capability.
- Professional English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer electronics, imaging products, cameras, or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with NPI development processes including EVT, DVT, and PVT.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or other automation tools.
- Interest in AI-assisted engineering workflows, test automation, or validation architecture.
- Experience with reliability testing, environmental testing, and failure analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and engineering data interpretation.
Why Join
- Move beyond traditional testing into Validation Architecture and Strategy.
- Influence product quality from the earliest development stages.
- Work closely with global engineering teams throughout the complete product lifecycle.
- Opportunity to build next-generation validation methodologies using AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Join an internationally recognized consumer electronics brand driving innovation in imaging products.
