As the VP of Human Capital, you will lead the development and execution of HR frameworks and strategies from the ground up. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution to drive HR initiatives that align with business objectives, enhance employee experience, and ensure compliance with labor regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business goals.
- Serve as a bridge between management and employees to address concerns and foster engagement.
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies to build a strong team.
- Design and manage compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Establish a performance appraisal system that promotes high performance and accountability.
- Assess and implement impactful training and development programs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across multiple locations.
- Oversee the selection and management of HR systems, including HRIS and ATS.
- Develop and uphold company values, culture, and morale-boosting initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in HR best practices within a proprietary trading firm or hedge fund.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR regulations across multiple countries.
- HR experience in both large, established companies and fast-paced startups.
- Familiarity with Taiwan labor laws and employment regulations.
- Knowledge of digital assets and the crypto industry.
