[ Team Building x CSR ] A 2-Day, 1-Night Mini Retreat

This two-day, one-night team-building trip began with a warm and meaningful volunteer activity.
We visited the Taiwan Children Liver Foundation to help sort donation receipts. Liver and bile duct diseases are among the leading causes of child mortality in Taiwan, and for children suffering from these illnesses, growing up is far more challenging than we imagine. Through long-term public service, health education, and medical support, the foundation has quietly carried these children with hope, safeguarding countless young lives.
Sorting receipts may not be a difficult task, but it carries profound meaning. Watching each crumpled receipt gradually fall into order felt as if we were also helping these children organize their hopes. The way everyone divided responsibilities, supported one another, and worked seamlessly together brought warmth to this seemingly simple task. It once again reflected one of our core values, “Synergetic” when we draw closer and work together, even small actions can become impactful.

After finishing the volunteer service, we headed to the villa to begin our long-awaited team time. Some played mahjong, some enjoyed karaoke, some shared heartfelt conversations over drinks, while others simply stayed close and kept each other company. Everyone found comfort in their own way, creating a space where no one needed to try too hard or put up walls.
During dinner preparation, from grocery shopping to cooking to cleaning, the team naturally fell into a rhythm of collaboration. Some were busy at the stove, others washed and chopped ingredients, while others quietly handled the dishes afterward. These everyday interactions gave us a deep sense of reassurance. A team is not just people who complete tasks together, it is a group of individuals willing to lend a hand, to trust, and to make things better together.

The night came alive with music, dancing, and laughter, unscripted, unplanned, yet filled with genuine joy. These simple yet precious moments will remain the softest corner of our shared memories.
The seafood feast on the second day marked the end of the trip, but what stayed with us was not the itinerary. What made these two days special were the things we felt from one another: someone felt understood, someone felt supported, someone felt seen, and someone rediscovered their strength.
This journey reminded us that working together is a blessing, growing together is built on trust, and moving forward side by side, stronger and more united is the greatest gift of all.
