Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and development of imaging and camera-based consumer products.
This role will be responsible for hardware architecture, schematic design, system integration, validation, debugging, and manufacturing support throughout the complete product development lifecycle.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and ODM partners to deliver innovative, reliable, and high-quality products for global markets.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical hardware systems for camera and imaging products.
- Define system architecture, power distribution, interface requirements, and hardware specifications.
- Develop schematics and support PCB layout reviews.
- Select and evaluate key electronic components and subsystems.
- Support prototype bring-up, debugging, validation, and performance optimization.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for hardware related issues.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, optical, and product development teams to ensure successful system integration.
- Work closely with ODM and manufacturing partners to support NPI and mass production readiness.
- Support reliability testing, regulatory certification, EMI/EMC validation, and product qualification activities.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and drive continuous product
improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical hardware design for consumer electronics, camera products, or embedded systems.
- Strong experience in schematic design, component selection, and PCB development.
- Familiarity with MCU-based systems and embedded hardware architectures.
- Experience with wireless modules such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or related communication technologies.
- Experience with board bring-up, hardware debugging, and system validation.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC design considerations and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and electronic test equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills in English and ability to work with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., BOM, routing management)
- Experience supporting NPI and mass production ramp
- Knowledge of quality control standards and tolerance management
- Experience in data center, server, or industrial equipment manufacturing
- Passion for photography, imaging technology, and consumer product
innovation.
