【iN’s Night】Genuine Conversation on Achieving Career Progress and Breakthroughs

In the rush of our everyday lives, that night felt as if someone had gently pressed the pause button for us.

We all know those quiet, unspoken moments in our hearts, times of uncertainty about the future, of questioning our own worth, or of standing at a career crossroads, unsure which way to turn. These heavy, invisible weights often act like anchors, quietly slowing our steps.

And from that stillness, a warm idea began to take shape: What if we created a special evening, a night where we could let our guard down, speak freely, and draw strength from one another’s stories? A night to realign our inner compass, and rediscover direction, clarity, and connection.

With that intention in mind, we invited Min-Che Su, Senior Director at KKday, and Sesto Ou, former Vice President of TutorABC, to join us for a warm evening illuminated by soft lights and the gentle aroma of wine. Over dinner, they shared not just their career journeys, but also their hearts.

It was more than a talk; it was a moment of genuine human connection.

Min-Che reminded everyone through his own story; not to fear changes, and endeavor to let go of others’ expectations and social labels. Every transition, he said, is a chance to meet a truer, better version of yourself.

Sesto spoke of how to refine passion through challenges, and how to embrace every turning point in life. Even the so-called “setbacks,” he said, eventually become the essential nutrients that help us grow.

We believe that everyone’s story carries its own unique light, and through sharing, those lights spark inspiration and illuminate the path ahead.

To bring that idea to life, we designed a special activity, the “Adjective Cards.”

At registration, each guest was invited to choose a word that best represented how they felt in that moment, perhaps the warmth of being “kind and lovable,” or the confidence of being “empowered and magnetic.” The chosen word was then gently placed on their chest.

It was more than just a name tag, it was a key to genuine connection, a simple yet meaningful gesture that helped break the ice instantly and draw hearts closer together.

To end the evening on a heartfelt note, we prepared another surprise, the “Golden Quote” Cards.

After an evening of laughter, honest conversation, and deep listening, guests were invited to choose a card-carrying word of strength and encouragement, and gift it to someone who truly resonated with them.

With a few gentle words explaining why they chose that quote, each exchange became a moment of genuine appreciation, a small act of kindness that would continue to shine as a warm light on each person’s career journey ahead.

To conclude the evening, our founder and the driving force behind this event, Ian, shared his reflections on the insights gained from the two speakers. He spoke about the vital role of communication and the profound impact of rapid technological change in today’s workplace.
