Finance Manager

Summary

We are partnering with a multinational chemical trading company to recruit a Finance Manager for its Taiwan office. This standalone role offers broad ownership across finance and business operations while working closely with the General Manager in a lean, multinational environment. 

As the Finance Manager, you will oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting for the Taiwan office, ensuring financial integrity, statutory compliance, and effective business support. You will also serve as the key finance contact with regional headquarters and a trusted business partner to the General Manager. 

 

Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting 

• Oversee finance and accounting operations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.  

• Coordinate with external accounting firms on tax, audits, and statutory filings.  

Treasury & Compliance 

• Manage cash flow, banking activities, and internal controls.  

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.  

Business Partnering 

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.  

• Partner with the General Manager on business planning and decision-making.  

Operations Support 

• Support selected office administration and operational initiatives.  

• Drive process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency.  

Regional Collaboration 

• Act as the primary finance contact with regional/global headquarters.  
• Support regional reporting and finance-related projects. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.  
• 8+ years of finance/accounting experience.  
• Experience in multinational companies preferred.  
• Familiar with Taiwan tax regulations and ERP systems.  
• Hands-on, independent, and comfortable working in a lean organization.
