Summary
A leading Tier-1 multinational semiconductor equipment corporation (MNC) driving advanced process technologies, dedicated to providing cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing equipment and top-tier process engineering support to world-class foundry clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the core technical liaison, proactively engaging with process and integration engineers at Tier-1 clients to discuss and resolve advanced process pain points using a shared “process and equipment language.”
- Operate within a matrix organization, reporting directly to regional management and global product heads on technical developments, tool performance, and project progress.
- Accurately translate customer process specifications and yield targets, collaborating closely with the R&D and product teams at the global HQ to ensure continuous improvement projects align perfectly with client expectations.
- Work cross-functionally with Field Application Engineers (FAEs) in the early stages of tool installation and upgrades, actively participating in frontline process diagnostics, planning Design of Experiments (DOE), and executing new tool process qualifications.
- Leverage a strong engineering background to analyze process data, conduct failure analysis, and optimize process parameters (recipe tuning) to continuously break through yield bottlenecks and improve tool stability.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a solid academic foundation and strong logical deduction capabilities.
- Business-fluent in English; possess excellent cross-cultural communication skills to independently conduct full-English technical meetings, presentations, and technical writing with the global HQ.
- Proficient in the principles of advanced semiconductor manufacturing (such as Lithography, Etch, Thin Film, or Diffusion), with outstanding capabilities in data interpretation and process failure analysis.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced, matrix organization environment.
- Practical experience with advanced node process optimization, recipe tuning, and yield enhancement strategies on semiconductor capital equipment is highly preferred.
