Hardware Engineer

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to develop next-generation consumer IoT and smart connected products. 
This role will focus on reviewing hardware designs, validating technical solutions, tracking issues, and ensuring product quality from development through mass production. 

Responsibilities

• Review ODM-provided schematics, PCB layouts, component selections, and hardware design solutions. 

• Review MCU architecture, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth integration, and battery-powered system design. 

• Support hardware validation, design verification, and board-level issue analysis. 

• Review RF and antenna test results and follow up on wireless performance issues. 

• Support EMI/EMC and ESD testing, debugging, and corrective-action tracking. 

• Review power architecture, charging circuits, battery performance, and power consumption. 

• Work with ODM partners to identify root causes and ensure technical issues are properly resolved. 

• Collaborate with internal firmware, RF, mechanical, product, and quality teams. 

• Support EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass-production issue tracking. 

Requirements

• B.S. or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 

• 3–5 years of hardware experience in consumer electronics, IoT devices, or other connected products. 

• Experience reviewing or developing hardware designs involving MCUs, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, and battery-powered systems. 

• Solid experience in EMI/EMC improvement, ESD debugging, and system-level validation. 

• Basic RF knowledge, including antenna integration, wireless testing, or RF issue analysis. 

• Able to review schematics, PCB layouts, test reports, and technical proposals from ODM partners. 

• Familiar with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other debugging tools. 

• Strong issue-tracking, troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication skills. 

• Basic English communication skills and willingness to travel based on project needs.
