Summary
My client is a growing group with multiple business units, active in the life sciences / healthcare space. They’re looking for an HR Partner to support one of the group’s core business units — owning recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and everyday HR operations for that unit. This is a role with real runway: you’ll work directly with C-level and business unit leaders on live talent and organizational decisions, get broad exposure across performance management, compensation, talent development and organization design, and have a clear path to grow from a business-facing HR role into broader group-level HR leadership as you build experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as the go-to HR Partner for a core business unit, covering the full cycle from recruitment and onboarding through employee relations and performance management
- Partner closely with business unit leaders to understand their operational priorities, talent gaps, and organizational challenges, and turn those into concrete HR actions
- Contribute to building out group-wide HR frameworks — performance management, compensation & rewards, talent development, and training programs
- Support talent review and succession/leadership development efforts, helping identify key talent, capability gaps, and organizational needs
- Help embed the group’s culture and values into onboarding, training, and day-to-day people management
- Use HR metrics (compensation, workforce cost, hiring, retention) to inform management’s talent and organizational decisions
- Take on increasing responsibility for group-level HR planning and initiatives as your scope grows
Requirements
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 5+ years of HR experience, ideally including HRBP or HR Generalist work
- Hands-on experience in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, or other core HR operations
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives independently
- Professional working proficiency in both Mandarin and English
Preferred
- HRBP/Generalist experience in a well-structured or multinational organization
- Prior involvement in performance, compensation, talent development, or organization development projects
- Experience within a group structure, multi-business-unit company, or fast-growing organization
- Background in life sciences, healthcare, or a related technical industry
