About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Process Engineer to lead the manufacturing process development for our next-generation consumer electronics products, including instant cameras and compact printers. This role will be pivotal in bridging our design team and manufacturing partners, ensuring high-quality builds, optimized lines, and scalable production.

Responsibilities

• Define and optimize assembly processes at EMS and ODM partners.
• Set up functional test systems and document production test requirements.
• Validate processes and ensure alignment with design specs and product quality targets.
• Lead yield improvement and cost-down activities in collaboration with suppliers.
• Monitor and analyze production KPIs to identify bottlenecks or issues.
• Act as the technical liaison between Taipei and our international teams.
• Support pilot builds, create build reports, and guide ECR/ECN execution.
• Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis with suppliers across Asia.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong experience with process validation, assembly lines, and test systems.
• Familiarity with EMS/ODM production environments, ideally in consumer electronics.
• Proficient in tools like PFMEA, SPC, control plans, and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Willingness to travel to supplier sites in Asia (mainly China).

Bonus Points

• Experience in camera module or 3C product assembly/testing.
• Hands-on exposure to both prototyping and high-volume manufacturing environments.
